Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. We only store access data that does not relate to any specific person, such as the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, or the name of the requested file. This data is solely evaluated to improve our offer and does not allow any conclusions about your person. This data is not shared with third parties. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your registration or use of our services. We use the data you provide without separate consent exclusively to fulfill and process our contractual obligations. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the subscription data exclusively for the newsletter service. When registering, a valid email address must be provided. In case of written registration, our employees will directly enter the data into the newsletter service’s database.

Use of Cookies

Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics allows us to analyze the behavior of website visitors in order to continuously improve our services.

Google Analytics 4 uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your device that help analyze how you use the website. The information generated by these cookies (e.g., pages visited, duration of visit, referrer URL, device type) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This may include transfers to Google LLC servers in the United States.

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means your IP address is shortened by Google within the EU or EEA before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and fully implement the strict requirements of the European data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Use of New Relic

We use the monitoring service New Relic, provided by New Relic, Inc., 188 Spear Street, Suite 1000, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA.

New Relic enables us to monitor the technical performance of our website (e.g., load times, server availability) in real time, helping us identify and fix issues quickly. New Relic may collect and analyze technical data such as timestamps, browser types, device information, operating systems, IP addresses (shortened/anonymized), URLs accessed, and performance metrics.

Data processing is carried out based on our legitimate interest in ensuring system stability and optimizing website performance pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data may be transferred to the United States. We have entered into a data processing agreement with New Relic in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Data transfers to third countries are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
