Rights & Roles
This is how rights and roles work in Pulse: You do not assign rights to employees directly, but always via roles at the account, team, or chat level.
Basics
You control who is allowed to do what via rights. However, these rights are not assigned directly to a person, but via so-called roles.
Roles and Levels
Account Level
Rights at this level apply to the entire account and all users in it.
Available Rights
- Account: Manage account data such as name or address.
- Account Display Settings: Set default displays for new employees.
- Account Roles: Change employee roles at the account level.
- Applicants: Manage applications.
- Application Phases: Define and edit application phases.
- Billing: Manage billing data.
- Contracts: View and edit employee contracts.
- Contract Templates: Manage templates for contracts.
- Documents: Manage documents in employee profiles.
- Documents (Sensitive): Access sensitive documents.
- Field Groups: Structure master data groups.
- Field Values: Edit master data in employee profiles.
- Field Values (Sensitive): Manage sensitive master data.
- Integrations: Connect and configure third-party systems.
- Invitations: Invite employees or revoke invitations.
- Job Postings: Create and manage job postings.
- Knowledge Bases (Chat Bot): Maintain content for chat bots.
- Offboardings: Manage offboarding processes.
- Offboarding Stages: Define process stages for offboardings.
- Offboarding Templates: Manage templates for offboardings.
- Onboardings: Manage onboarding processes.

Team Level
Rights at this level apply only within a specific team.

- Applicants: Manage applications in the team.
- Contracts: View and edit contract data in the team.
- Documents: Add and view team documents.
- Documents (Sensitive): Access sensitive team documents.
- Field Values: Edit master data of team members.
- Field Values (Sensitive): Manage sensitive master data.
- Job Postings: Maintain job postings within the team.
- Offboardings: Manage offboarding for team members.
- Onboardings: Manage onboarding for team members.
- Team Memberships: Assign or remove users, change roles.
- Employees: Manage team members.
Chat Level
These rights apply specifically to chats and their content.
Available Rights
- Chats: Manage chats (e.g., title, settings).
- Chat Memberships: Add, remove members, change roles.
- Messages: Read, write, or delete messages.
