Overview

With Pulse, you manage employees, documents, processes, and communication centrally in one platform. This page gives you a compact overview of all core features.

Employees & Profiles

Add & Manage Employees

  • Add employees with minimal information (name is enough).
  • Send invitations via email.
  • Status: created → invited → active.
  • From the profile, you can access the personnel file, onboarding, documents, and more.

Digital Personnel File

  • Contains all relevant data and documents.
  • Structured into: General, Master Data, Documents, Contracts.
  • Flexible customization via custom field groups.

Communication: Chat

  • Direct communication without external tools.
  • Threads, emojis, mentions (@Name), formatting.
  • Includes push and email notifications.
  • Context-sensitive chats possible (e.g., per contract or process).

Processes: Onboarding & Offboarding

Onboarding

  • Structured flows with phases and tasks.
  • Reusable templates for different roles.
  • Progress visible in Kanban view.

Offboarding

  • Similar to onboarding, but focused on the last working day.
  • Permissions are managed separately.
  • Employees cannot see the offboarding process.

Automation: Workflows

  • Automatically respond to events (e.g., new employee).
  • Actions: HTTP request, chat notification, chat membership.
  • Use placeholders in Liquid format ({{ user.name }}).

Recruiting

  • Create job postings with public link.
  • Applications appear in Kanban view.
  • Custom application stages definable (e.g., Inbox, Interview, Final Round).

Contracts & Signature

  • Create contract templates with placeholders.
  • Digital or offline signature possible.
  • Preview link for sharing before signing.
  • Contract documents are automatically added to the personnel file.

Document Management

  • Upload via drag & drop or individually.
  • Control visibility, sensitive documents specially protected.
  • Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG, ZIP, and more.

AI Agents

  • Answer questions about Pulse directly in chat (@Pulse).
  • Use your own content for chatbot responses (e.g., internal PDFs).
  • Access your own data via API – analyze, edit, delete.

Master Data & Fields

  • Create custom fields in groups (e.g., employee number, salary).
  • Field types like text, number, dropdown available.
  • Advanced permissions: hide, read-only, sensitive.

Roles & Rights

  • Permissions are assigned via roles, not directly to individuals.
  • Three levels: Account, Team, Chat.
  • Different permissions for onboarding, documents, applications, etc.
  • System roles are predefined, custom roles freely creatable.

Organization & Structure

  • Map your company with account, teams, users, roles.
  • Teams can be nested hierarchically.
  • One identity can manage multiple accounts.

Misc

  • Activity log runs in the background (auditing).
  • Soft delete protects against accidental data loss.
  • Pulse can be installed as an app (PWA), e.g., via Chrome.
  • Multi-accounting: one login, multiple companies or contexts.
